• Sally did an amazing job creating our dream cake! We first tasted her cake at a friend's wedding and we knew we had to have her create our cake. I don't ever eat wedding cake...because I typically don't like the way it tastes (it's usually too sweet and dry for my taste)...but I fell in love with her cakes...it was "love at first bite"!     We tried several other places around Raleigh, NC just to compare...but there was truly no comparison. Her cakes were so moist and the fillings were exquisite.     We found a beautiful, but intricate design, that we fell in love with.  We asked her to use a very specific and complex design on the cake. She was able to transfer the design perfectly onto our cake!   She replicated our design (and she did it without a stencil or guide).       I can not stress enough that her artistry is incredible...but above that, the cakes taste out of this world! We had 550 very impressed guests..   A year later, people are still complimenting us on our cake....mostly for it's taste but also for it's beauty.

• Sally was very easy to work with.  She definitely let the Bride have a lot of say in how her wedding cake looked and the flavor(s) that were chosen.  Sally prepared sample cakes of all the different flavors that my daughter requested.  She worked with our time frame so that the bride, groom, and the bride's parents were able to sample the cakes.  She took time to talk through the different looks of wedding cakes and allowed the bride to decide on the shape, flavor, and look of the cake -- all while giving guidance as needed.  Sally also baked the groom's cake.  She worked with the groom's mother from Ohio and helped design a cake that was a perfect fit for him.  Sally didn't stop there!  Both cakes were delivered to the Reception site in plenty of time, and she made sure both cakes were perfectly decorated (cake and table) before she left.  All of the guests oohed and ahhed about how beautiful AND delicious the cakes were!  Additionally, we found Sally's cakes to be reasonably priced.  We were extremely satisfied with Sally's cakes.

• Sally created the most beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding this past September.  Our family and guests have repeatedly asked us if we would have a mini re-creation for our first anniversary!  We had cake tastings with 5 different bakers.  No one else came close to the taste and quality of Sally.  She was also our favorite vendor of the whole wedding process… professional, accommodating and extraordinarily creative.  We would not hesitate to use her for any occasion, especially extra-special ones… she is our only choice!  We can’t say enough… just look at how beautiful it was!

• This is an enthusiastic review for Sally with CAKE DREAMS. She made the process of choosing a wedding cake fun! From a list of a wide variety of cake types and flavors, I chose a sample of combinations and she invited me to her home to try them out. She also showed a photo album of cakes she had designed to help me get an idea of what kind of cake I wanted. Each cake had a distinct personality, seemingly as distinct as the personalities of the brides--a testament to her outstanding ability to accommodate each bride's unique tastes and desires. She seemed to understand just the kind of thing I was looking for...and she produced a beautiful cake exactly like I wanted. Several guests at the wedding raved about how good the cake was--even those who typically don't like cake! Sally was more than accommodating by delivering the cake to the reception site and making us a small complimentary cake for our one-year wedding anniversary! I couldn't ask for better service or for a more beautiful and delicious cake. Three cheers for CAKE DREAMS!

• Sally went WAY above and beyond the call of duty for my wedding cake. I requested a sugar-free cake, or partly sugar free, and Sally tried various versions until she created a delicious recipe. Not only did it taste amazing, it was perfectly decorated. She was flexible and accommodating, and made the cake exactly how I wanted it - from an email drawing and phone discussion! And to top that off, she drove many miles to my rural wedding site, and decorated the cake with real roses on the day of the wedding.   I HIGHLY recommend Sally for the ideal wedding cake.

• I think everyone should be lucky enough to hire Sally.  I couldn’t have picked a better cake for my wedding.  My mom and I tried a TON and some were too sweet, some too dry and Sally’s was JUST right.  We knew from the very first bite we wanted to hire her for my wedding cake (November 2007).  As hard as it was to choose a flavor, we ended up going with white cake and her scrumptious raspberry filling with buttercream icing.  We got SO many compliments on her cake.  And as far as the design, she can do anything you want.  I described to her my theme and she executed the design with perfection.  I really can’t say enough about her.

• This was HANDS DOWN the best cake I have ever tasted.  Aside from our beautiful ceremony, the cake was the best thing about the wedding (and it was a great wedding all around!).  The taste and texture of the cake, fillings, and frosting were absolutely amazing.  My husband and I still talk about that cake, and are always looking for an occasion to order another one from Sally.  Added bonuses: she was a delight to work with, which was greatly appreciated during the onerous and stressful planning process; she has incredibly reasonable prices; and I love how she decorated the cake.  But honestly, I could write pages about the taste alone.

• Sally did an excellent job on my daughters wedding cake.  Our guests commented on how good the cake tasted and how often wedding cakes are too dry.  Many of our guests asked for a second piece of cake.  Sally lets the wedding couple choose a different flavor of cake and different filling flavor for each tier so our guests wanted to taste each flavor!  Sally decorated each tier with hydrangeas which stayed fresh and looked beautiful.  Sally delivered a beautiful and tasty cake for my daughter on the same day her son was getting married so I can highly recommend her.

• Sally's cakes are absolutely the most delicious cakes I have ever tasted.  Her cakes are fresh, fresh, fresh, creatively beautiful, and unique, and reasonable!  When she says the filling tastes (in this particular case) like fresh strawberry shortcake, it really does!  I'm amazed!    I usually don't eat cakes at weddings or showers, etc, because they are a disappointment.  But when I went to a wedding shower for a friend, I was tempted by many who kept saying how delicious the cake was, so I did have a piece.  It's the first time I've eaten the whole piece, and then gone back for more!  Since then, any cake we have ordered are from Sally, and all of them have been uniquely beautiful and delicious!

• Sally--Since I live in Dallas, I was a little nervous with how our wedding cake would come out since I couldn't be there to see your work or taste your samples, even though our friends gave rave reviews.  As it turned out I had absolutely nothing to worry about.  The cake was absolutely beautiful and was the best wedding cake I ever tasted.  All of my guests loved it!   It far exceeded my expectations.  Thank you so much for helping me long distance too.  It's difficult to plan a wedding so far away and you were wonderful and made the process so easy.
